Warm Season Turf (Bermuda, Zoysia, Centipede, and St. Augustine)

Bermuda/Zoysia

• Round 1: January/February- Pre-emergent herbicide to prevent weed germination along with a post emergent herbicide to control existing weeds.
• Round 2: February/March- Second pre-emergent herbicide to provide extended weed prevention, post emergent herbicide to control existing weeds, and fertilizer to promote green up.
• Round 3: April/May- Third pre-emergent herbicide to provide extended weed prevention, post emergent herbicide to control existing weeds, and fertilizer to promote green up. Slow release fertilizer to provide continual feeding.
• Round 4: June/July- Fertilize with iron to enhance the green color without stimulating additional growth, apply post emergent broad leaf herbicide to control existing weeds.
• Round 5: July/August- Slow release fertilizer to provide continual feeding, iron to enhance the green color without stimulating additional growth, and spot treatment of existing weeds.
• Round 6: September/October- Pre-emergent herbicide to prevent the germination of winter weeds along with post emergent herbicide to control existing weeds.
• Round 7: October/November- Fertilize with a root stimulating fertilizer.
• Round 8: November/December- Pre-emergent herbicide and spot treatment of existing weeds.

Centipede/St. Augustine

• Round 1: January/February- Pre-emergent herbicide to prevent weed germination along and spot treatment of existing weeds.
• Round 2: February/March- Fertilizer for green up and post emergent herbicide for control of existing weeds.
• Round 3: April/May- Slow release fertilizer to provide continual feeding and root health along with spot treatment of existing weeds.
• Round 4: May/June- Root development fertilizer with iron for additional green-up, apply broad leaf herbicide to control existing weeds.
• Round 5: June/July- Slow release fertilizer to provide continual feeding, iron to enhance the green color without stimulating additional growth, and spot treatment of existing weeds.
• Round 6: August/September- Pre-emergent herbicide to prevent the germination of winter weeds along with post emergent herbicide to control existing weeds.
• Round 7: September/October- Root stimulating fertilizer along with soil enhancement.
• Round 8: November/December- Pre-emergent herbicide to prevent the germination of winter weeds along with post emergent herbicide to control existing weeds.

*Note: All products applied are safe for use with centipede and St. Augustine turf.

Fescue Turf

• Round 1: January/February- Pre-emergent herbicide to prevent weed germination along with a post emergent herbicide to control existing weeds.
• Round 2: February/March- High nitrogen fertilizer along with pre-emergent herbicide to prevent weed germination along with a post emergent herbicide to control existing weeds.
• Round 3: April/May- Fertilize and apply pre-emergent herbicide to prevent weed germination.
• Round 4: May/June- Root development fertilizer with iron for additional green-up along with soil enhancement, apply broad leaf herbicide to control existing weeds.
• Round 5: June/July- Root development fertilizer with iron for additional green-up. Spot treatment of weeds.
• Round 6: August/September- Micro-nutrients along with a bio-stimulant to promote turf health and prepare for summer conditions. Spot treatment of weeds.
• Round 7: September/October- Balanced fertilizer to provide feeding and green-up.
• Round 8: November/December: Slow release fertilizer to provide continual feeding along with spot treatment of existing weeds.
